Prosper de Roos develops and creates audio works, documentaries and interdisciplinary projects. For festivals, online media, broadcasters and organisations. Stories at the intersection of humanity, art, ecology and philosophy. His projects explore ways of navigating a changing world, where narratives both shape meaning, inspire and mislead.

Prosper de Roos ontwikkelt en realiseert audiowerken, documentaires en interdisciplinaire projecten. Voor festivals, online media, omroepen en organisaties. Zijn projecten verkennen een veranderende wereld, waarin verhalen betekenis geven, inspireren en ook misleiden.
Prosper studeerde filosofie aan de University of Amsterdam, en film/fotografie aan de St.Joost kunstacademie. Zijn specialisme is verhalende audio op het snijvlak van de mens, ecologie en filosofie. Terugkerende thematiek is de veranderlijke scheidslijn tussen de mens en het niet-menselijke.

Prosper studied philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, and film and photography at the St. Joost School of Fine Arts. De Roos works with audio as a means of exploration, and embraces slowness as a way of listening and experiencing. A recurring theme in his work is the shifting boundary between human and non-human, and between outer and inner worlds.
